All the Indoor National Championships will be held in Brisbane QLD. 

Championship travel dates:

Opens: Monday 2nd - Sunday 8th Jan 

U21s: Saturday 7th Jan - Thursday 12th Jan 

U18s Wednesday 11th - Tuesday 17th Jan 

U13s Monday 16th - Saturday 21st Jan 

U15s Friday 20th - Thursday 26th Jan 

Indoor Selections will take place on the 5th November at the Silverdome with a training weekend taking place on the 3rd and 4th Dec also at the Silverdome. Times for each age group are below:

For clarification these are the guidelines for age eligibility:

If the competition is an Under 21 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 21 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences.

Note: the ‘Indoor Season’ starts in October…

Therefore anyone who turns 21 in 2022 is eligible for 2023 Under 21 Indoor Hockey Championships

We estimate that this trip will cost between $1200- $1500, this includes team entry, accommodation, car hire and other team expenses. Please note this does not include flights as players are expected to organise their own flights to and from the location. This cost is subject to change when teams are selected but keeping costs down for state trips is a priority for Hockey Tasmania.
