The 2024/25 Indoor National Championships will be held in Canberra, ACT
Championship dates have now been confirmed:
Opens 14th -18th December 2024
u21s 19th -22nd December 2024
u18s 6th-10th January 2025
u14s 11th-14th January 2025
u16s 15th- 19th January 2025
A training squad for the u21 and Opens Squads will be selected for the duration of the training program. The final travelling team will be announced before 19th October.
*If for any reason you cannot attend the selection trials, please also fill in the exemption form - State Indoor Trial Exemption 2024/25 - Hockey Tasmania
Nominations for U14 Boys have been extended and will close October 25th.
For clarification these are the guidelines for age eligibility:
If the competition is an Under 16 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 16 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences.
Note: the ‘Indoor Season’ starts in October…
Therefore anyone who turns 16 in 2024 is eligible for 2025 Under 16 Indoor Hockey Championships
Please note players are expected to organise their own flights to and from the location.
Training schedules for all teams have not yet been confirmed, these will be finalised at a later date.
