Hockey Tasmania is seeking applicants for the casual, contracted role of "Power Up Your Umpiring" Convenor. This position will report to the Officiating Coordinator, and oversee and develop the "Power Up Your Umpiring" program, leveraging strong communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Requires practical officiating experience, accreditation, and the ability to collaborate with diverse groups, provide feedback, and maintain a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Delivery:

• Design, develop, and implement an officiating program to meet organisational goals.
• Ensure programs align with accreditation requirements and best practices.

Coordination & Collaboration:

• Coordinate groups of umpires, mentors, and participants to ensure effective program delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a supportive and cohesive environment.

Officiating Leadership:

• Act as a mentor and experienced umpire, providing guidance to others.
• Offer constructive feedback to improve officiating performance and professional growth.

Communication & Administration:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with participants, umpires, and organisational leadership.
• Handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, program documentation, and reporting.
