Masters Trans-Tasman Challenge Teams Announced
Published Thu 09 Jan 2025
The Masters Trans-Tasman Challenge is set to return to Australia for the first time in six years, with hundreds of hockey's best Australian and New Zealand athletes aged 35+ - 75+ preparing to descend on Cairns in 2025. The event, which will run from 13 - 17 May 2025, will be the first time in the competition’s history that the far north Queensland city of Cairns will host the event. 34 teams from across Australia and New Zealand will compete across five days of intense competition.
The Australian Masters teams will be motivated to defend their titles from the 2023 event, which took place in Christchurch, New Zealand. Australia won every division except for the 50+ and 55+ Women last year. We’re thrilled to have Tassie represented by so many amazing players, and we’d like to recognise them!
