Narelle Davey Joins the Hockey Tasmania Board

At the Hockey Tasmania Board meeting held last Monday night Narelle Davey was co-opted on to the Hockey Tasmania Board.
Hockey Tasmania would like to welcome Narelle and congratulate her taking on this new role.
Narelle is currently the Regional Lead, Australian Red Cross, Community Programs and will be a very familiar face to our members from the North-West region, as an active player, parent, and volunteer for the last 20 years. A proud member of the West Devonport Dragons, she’s served at just about every level of hockey at club, competition, and state level, in a wide variety of roles. Club President, junior coordinator, team manager, competitions committee convenor, Hockey Tasmania committees, indoor hockey, Masters, JLW, state teams – Narelle’s experience and insight across almost the entire spectrum of the sport in Tasmania makes her an exemplary addition to the Board.
Narelle stated her personal goals in joining the Board will be to see a strategic approach to strengthening our local clubs, improve volunteer recognition and retention, and be a positive role model for change.
