The Tasmanian Over 45 men have claimed Gold at the Men’s Masters Championship with a thrilling 2-1 win over NSW.

The game was a hard-fought affair, with both teams unable to break the ice until the 40th minute when Hockey Tasmanian CEO Damian Smith put through a field goal to give Tasmania the lead.

NSW wasted no time in responding, scoring just 2 minutes later to even the scores at 1-1.

The scores remained locked until the dying seconds when Tasmania broke through in the clutch to secure a PC in the final 12 seconds of the game.

Rick Webb was able to convert under immense pressure handing Tasmania a 2-1 victory and the Gold Medal.
